Yurika Tamura

Yurika Tamura is a lecturer at the East Asian Studies department at UC Santa Barbara. She is a scholar of immigration, Indigeneity, representation and decoloniality. Her book, Vibration of Others: Resonation and Corporeal Ethics of Transnational Indigenous Soundscapes (Wesleyan University Press, 2023) uses New Materialism and sound studies to study transnational Indigenous music activism.
