Ahngeli Shivam

Ahngeli Shivam is a dual PhD candidate in American Studies at the JGU Mainz, Germany and in English (concentration in Literary Studies) at GSU. As a Fulbright Scholar, she was a visiting researcher at the Center for Biographical Research at the University of Hawai’i and currently is at the Department of American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California while working on her dissertation “The Transpacific: Life Narratives Across Media.” Her chapter “A New Age of Diversity and Visibility” will be published in McFarland & Company’s upcoming book on Streaming Video Services: Essays on Markets, Audiences and Content of Internet Television.
